Background

The economic stakeholders of the agricultural and agri-food transformation are essential stakeholders.  They have indeed an influence on the choice of production and production method. The choice to enhance a product or production method automatically impacts the previous level. Their involvement is a key condition for sustainable changes in agricultural practices.

Objective

The objective of this action is to improve the inclusion of water quality recovery issues in economic strategies or agricultural sector strategies or agri-food strategies. It involves defining the specifications for a call for projects in order to select three actions led by industrial and agri-food economic stakeholders.

Description of the action

This action is broken down into several sections:

  1. Defining the call for projects

Work is set to start with the main representatives of the networks of agricultural and agri-food economic stakeholders in Pays de la Loire (agricultural cooperatives in West France, LIGERIAA, Végépolys Valley etc.). This will thus refine the framework for the future call for projects which will take place in 2022.

2- Launching the call for projects and selecting the actions

The economic stakeholders selected will be included in the LIFE REVERS’EAU project partnership.
