The fifth partners’ committee took place on 13 June 2025 in Nantes.
The partners in the LIFE Revers’eau project met at the Hôtel de Région des Pays de la Loire to exchange views on the project’s progress and discuss future directions. The meeting highlighted the many advances made by the project and discussed the challenges ahead.
These included the signing of all the associated Region/Beneficiary riders up to the end of the project, the completion of the initial assessment of the project’s impact, the introduction of administrative, financial and technical monitoring tools, and the integration of new players via the second rider.
The committee was also an opportunity to present the communication and networking initiatives, in particular the series of podcasts produced by the Fédération des Radios Associatives des Pays de la Loire, highlighting water resource issues through the testimonies of the associated beneficiaries. Several episodes were produced with several of the LIFE Revers’eau partners :

The meeting also provided an opportunity to review the progress of certain actions carried out by the Associated Beneficiaries, so that all the partners had the same level of information.
A particular focus was placed on the new action by the Syndicat Layon Aubance Louëts, aimed at improving the ecological status of the Jeu water body, the most recent partner to join the project to date.
The Partners’ Committee was also an opportunity to present the actions undertaken by the Region to the partners, in particular the progress made in assessing the project’s impact on biodiversity, climate and socio-economic aspects. There was also a focus on the development of training for elected representatives on water issues. Finally, the committee members discussed the proposal for a rider to extend the project until the end of 2028, to compensate for delays caused by various external factors.

The meeting underlined the importance of promoting the concrete results to the general public and to funders, as well as the need to ensure that the actions and their benefits continue beyond the LIFE project.
