The LIFE REVERS’EAU team took part in a water resource awareness day organised by the Loire-Bretagne Water Agency and the Pays de la Loire Region.
The aim of the day was to shed light on the dynamics of local stakeholders’ mobilisation in favour of water. It was intended for elected officials, but leaders of watershed organisations and public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation (EPCI) were also invited.
After a morning of two round table discussions, the afternoon was devoted to four workshops for elected officials and technicians, as well as a tools forum.
One of the four workshops was organised by the Pays de la Loire Region and asked participants to work on the following question: “How can we build a knowledge base on water for EPCI elected officials? One of the members of the LIFE REVERS’EAU team co-facilitated this workshop, the results of which will feed into the discussions on the LIFE project’s awareness-raising activities for elected officials.
The tools forum was also an opportunity to present the educational kit, and in particular the Escape Game, developed as part of LIFE REVERS’EAU, to the day’s participants.
