Angers University

The Angers University Planetology and Geosciences Laboratory is a joint research unit supervised by the CNRS, Nantes and Angers universities. Its activities are divided into four research themes: Marine systems in transition, Diversity of icy worlds, Planet Earth and Telluric planets.

The team working on the LIFE REVERS’EAU project bases its research on the theme “Marine systems in transition”. Its research especially covers estuary systems and the land-sea continuum.

C16 action aims at proposing a collaborative action within the LIFE REVERS’EAU project involving a partnership between different, highly active research groups, in understanding estuary biogeochemical processes and related hypoxia phases, around a common natural object, the Loire estuary. All of these groups are internationally recognised for their active research into estuary biogeochemical processes.
