A LIFE session is organised annually within the umbrella of SERE, with the support of the LIFE Programme monitoring team. LIFE REVERS’EAU was among the 15 selected projects to participate in it, among the 41 that submitted a candidature to participate.
At the end of August, part of the LIFE Revers’eau project team travelled to Tartu, Estonia, to take part in the 14th European Conference on Ecological Restoration.
It was an opportunity to meet the Elmen teams and learn more about LIFE projects focusing on ecological restoration in Europe, on subjects as varied as Latvian bocage, invasive alien species on the dunes of Flanders, English peat bogs and Estonian rivers…
It was a very enriching and inspiring experience for the presentation of the Revers’eau project when it comes to completion. We went back motivated, with lots of ideas for the next stage of the project, and very grateful for this opportunity to raise the profile of Life Revers’eau (and the Pays de la Loire!) outside the traditional regional and French networks.
